The honor of my life! Officiating my daughter’s wedding!

Sandra joined VOS in 2024 as Director of Marketing, and she came with a track record that stands out: she has built a marketing department from the ground up - twice now. Before VOS, she spent 18 years as the Communications Lead at a K-12 independent school, creating the department from nothing and growing it into a full institutional communications operation. She brings that same builder's energy to VOS. Along with the background in communications, she has 25-plus years as a licensed real estate agent and several years in mortgage lending that gives her an unusually deep fluency in financial services and the client relationships advisors care most about.

Sandra was born in Hollywood, CA and has lived in the Los Angeles area her entire life. She is a mom of three grown children who are successfully launched into the world. When not at the computer, Sandra can be found teaching yoga and group exercise classes, playing board games or the occasional game of Texas Hold-em. She occasionally bakes and decorates cakes, and was thrilled to make her daughter’s wedding cake, and even more thrilled to officiate her wedding! Sandra loves traveling with family and friends, or even with strangers like she did on a yoga retreat to Thailand in 2024!

Sandra is a volunteer puppy raiser for Guide Dogs of America, and is currently raising her fourth puppy. She also enjoys the constant companionship of her first GDA puppy, a black lab named Arthur, who found his home with her during the pandemic and decided that the life of a pet was better than being a working dog.

There is a beautiful work-life balance that comes from virtual work that allows Sandra to do the things she enjoys, like training her puppy, traveling, practicing yoga and spending time with loved ones.
