Kira Fores
Client Service Specialist
Kira was born and raised on Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi, where her love for community and the outdoors took root early. When she’s not working, you’ll most likely find her in nature - hunting, fishing, camping, or spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys cooking, tending to her garden, and hanging out with her two golden retrievers.
Kira’s career path is uniquely well-rounded. She earned her undergraduate degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Wine & Viticulture, with a concentration in Business, and began her professional career in the wine and spirits industry. She spent four years helping manage operations for a start-up craft distillery, gaining hands-on experience in operations, systems, and process management.
Driven by a desire to make a greater impact in her community, Kira transitioned into financial planning. While working full time, she returned to school to earn her MBA in Finance, and began her career in the financial planning space with an Oʻahu-based firm serving more than 500 clients nationwide and over $100 million in assets under management. As a Lead Paraplanner, she supported a team of advisors and was involved in every stage of the client journey.
Kira brings extensive experience across a wide range of platforms and custodians, including Naviplan, Nitrogen (Riskalyze), Orion, Redtail, Allegis, Lincoln, Winflex, Wealthscape, RBC, and Salesforce, as well as hands-on experience processing real estate and alternative investments such as 1031 exchanges, DSTs, and other alternatives.
She is deeply passionate about helping clients reach their financial goals and values the collaborative planning process that gets them there. Kira is excited to be working in the RIA space, supporting fee-only advisors who consistently put their clients’ best interests first.
Kira is currently pursuing her CFP® designation and is enrolled in coursework through Kaplan. She has completed 1,460 experience hours to date and plans to sit for the exam by early 2027.
